The Indonesian version below has equal standing. Where the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails, as this policy is governed by Indonesian law.
1. Who we are
SHEM PARFUM is operated by PT Semerbak Harum Mewangi, with a store at Pasaraya Blok M, Jakarta, Indonesia. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, who else receives it, and what rights you have over it.
It is written to comply with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).
2. What we collect
Account data
- Full name, email address, and phone number — to create your account and contact you about orders.
- Password — stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never store, and cannot read, your actual password.
- Google account ID and profile photo — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Date of birth — optional. Used only to send you a birthday voucher. You can leave it empty.
Order data
- Delivery address, and for international orders the destination country, city/state, and postal code — to ship your order and calculate shipping cost.
- Delivery notes — optional instructions you write for the courier.
- Order history — items, amounts, courier, tracking number, and payment status, kept for after-sales service, warranty, and refunds.
- Refund details — reason and method, if you request a refund.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by Midtrans on their own systems. Card numbers, CVV, and PINs never reach our servers.
Referral programme data
- Referral code and claim history — to award referral vouchers correctly.
- Device fingerprint — a SHA-256 hash of your browser identifier, language setting, and IP address. It is used only to detect people abusing the referral programme with multiple fake accounts. It cannot be reversed back into the original values.
- IP address and browser identifier (user agent) — recorded on each referral claim for the same anti-fraud purpose.
Reviews
- If you write a product review, the name you submit, your rating, and your comment are published publicly on the product page, visible to anyone. Please do not include private information in a review.
Technical data
- Server logs — error and activity records used for debugging and security.
- Browser storage — see section 5.
3. Chatbot
Our AI assistant is powered by Google Gemini. The message you type is sent to Google to generate a reply. We do not save chat conversations in our database — the conversation exists only in your browser and disappears when you close or reset the chat. Google processes the message under its own terms. Please do not share sensitive personal information with the chatbot.
4. Who else receives your data
We share only what each service actually needs to do its job:

For international orders, your delivery details are necessarily transferred to the destination country and handled by the courier and customs authorities there.
What we do not do:
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not install analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
5. Cookies, browser storage, and embedded content
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies of our own. To keep you signed in and remember your cart, we store the following in your browser's local storage, on your device only:

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings, or by logging out.
Some pages embed content from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies once the content loads. We do not control them:
- YouTube — product videos
- Google Maps — our store location
- Google Fonts — page typography
- Midtrans — the payment popup
- jsDelivr — a notification library
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected.
- Order records are retained after delivery, as they serve as proof of transaction and are needed for after-sales service, warranty, refunds, and bookkeeping.
- Referral anti-fraud records (IP address, browser identifier, device fingerprint) are retained so the programme cannot be abused repeatedly. We want to be transparent here: we currently have no automatic deletion schedule for these records. They are removed when you ask us to delete your data.
We do not promise a fixed deletion period we cannot actually keep. If you want your data removed, please contact us — see section 8.
7. How we protect it
- All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
- Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never as readable text.
- Access to the admin panel is restricted to authorised staff.
- Payment card data never touches our servers.
No system can promise perfect security, but we take these measures seriously and improve them as the service grows.
8. Your rights
Under UU PDP you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date
- Ask us to delete your account and personal data
- Withdraw your consent to our processing of your data
- Ask us to stop processing your data, or object to a specific use
Some data may need to be retained after a deletion request where the law requires it — for example, transaction records kept for tax and accounting purposes.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When a change is significant, we will notify you by email or with a notice on the website. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.

1. Tentang kami
SHEM PARFUM dijalankan oleh PT Semerbak Harum Mewangi, dengan toko di Pasaraya Blok M, Jakarta. Kebijakan ini menjelaskan data pribadi apa yang kami kumpulkan saat Anda memakai situs kami, untuk apa, siapa saja yang menerimanya, dan hak apa yang Anda miliki atas data tersebut.
Kebijakan ini disusun mengacu pada UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP).
2. Data yang kami kumpulkan
Data akun
- Nama lengkap, alamat email, dan nomor HP — untuk membuat akun dan menghubungi Anda soal pesanan.
- Password — hanya disimpan dalam bentuk hash bcrypt. Kami tidak pernah menyimpan dan tidak bisa membaca password asli Anda.
- ID akun Google dan foto profil — hanya jika Anda memilih masuk lewat Google.
- Tanggal lahir — opsional. Dipakai hanya untuk mengirim voucher ulang tahun. Boleh dikosongkan.
Data pesanan
- Alamat pengiriman, dan untuk pesanan luar negeri: negara tujuan, kota/provinsi, serta kode pos — untuk mengirim pesanan dan menghitung ongkos kirim.
- Catatan pengiriman — instruksi opsional yang Anda tulis untuk kurir.
- Riwayat pesanan — item, nominal, kurir, nomor resi, dan status pembayaran, disimpan untuk layanan purna jual, garansi, dan pengembalian dana.
- Data pengembalian dana — alasan dan metode, bila Anda mengajukan refund.
Kami tidak pernah melihat atau menyimpan data kartu Anda. Pembayaran diproses sepenuhnya oleh Midtrans di sistem mereka sendiri. Nomor kartu, CVV, dan PIN tidak pernah sampai ke server kami.
Data program referral
- Kode referral dan riwayat klaim — supaya voucher referral diberikan dengan benar.
- Sidik perangkat (device fingerprint) — hash SHA-256 dari identitas browser, pengaturan bahasa, dan alamat IP Anda. Dipakai hanya untuk mendeteksi penyalahgunaan program referral memakai banyak akun palsu. Hash ini tidak bisa dikembalikan ke nilai aslinya.
- Alamat IP dan identitas browser (user agent) — dicatat pada setiap klaim referral untuk tujuan anti-kecurangan yang sama.
Ulasan produk
- Jika Anda menulis ulasan, nama yang Anda isikan, rating, dan komentar Anda ditampilkan secara publik di halaman produk dan bisa dilihat siapa saja. Mohon jangan menulis informasi pribadi di dalam ulasan.
Data teknis
- Log server — catatan error dan aktivitas untuk keperluan perbaikan bug dan keamanan.
- Penyimpanan browser — lihat bagian 5.
3. Chatbot
Asisten AI kami memakai Google Gemini. Pesan yang Anda ketik dikirim ke Google untuk dibuatkan jawabannya. Kami tidak menyimpan percakapan chat di basis data kami — percakapan hanya ada di browser Anda dan hilang saat chat ditutup atau direset. Google memproses pesan tersebut berdasarkan ketentuan mereka sendiri. Mohon jangan membagikan informasi pribadi yang sensitif kepada chatbot.
4. Pihak lain yang menerima data Anda
Kami hanya membagikan data seperlunya, sesuai kebutuhan masing-masing layanan:

Untuk pesanan luar negeri, data pengiriman Anda mau tidak mau ditransfer ke negara tujuan dan ditangani oleh kurir serta otoritas bea cukai di sana.
Yang tidak kami lakukan:
- Kami tidak menjual data pribadi Anda kepada siapa pun.
- Kami tidak memakai data Anda untuk iklan pihak ketiga.
- Kami tidak memasang pelacak analytics atau iklan di situs ini.
5. Cookie, penyimpanan browser, dan konten tertanam
Kami tidak memakai cookie pelacak atau cookie iklan milik kami sendiri. Agar Anda tetap masuk dan keranjang Anda tersimpan, kami menyimpan data berikut di penyimpanan lokal browser — hanya di perangkat Anda:

Anda bisa menghapusnya kapan saja lewat pengaturan browser, atau dengan keluar (logout).

- YouTube — video produk
- Google Maps — lokasi toko kami
- Google Fonts — huruf yang dipakai halaman
- Midtrans — popup pembayaran
- jsDelivr — pustaka notifikasi
6. Berapa lama data disimpan
Kami menyimpan data Anda selama akun Anda aktif dan selama masih dibutuhkan untuk tujuan pengumpulannya.
- Data pesanan tetap disimpan setelah barang diterima, karena berfungsi sebagai bukti transaksi dan dibutuhkan untuk layanan purna jual, garansi, refund, serta pembukuan.
- Data anti-kecurangan referral (alamat IP, identitas browser, sidik perangkat) disimpan agar program tidak bisa disalahgunakan berulang kali. Kami ingin jujur di titik ini: saat ini belum ada jadwal penghapusan otomatis untuk data tersebut. Data itu dihapus ketika Anda meminta penghapusan data Anda.
Kami tidak ingin menjanjikan jangka waktu penghapusan yang sebenarnya belum bisa kami penuhi. Bila Anda ingin data Anda dihapus, silakan hubungi kami — lihat bagian 8.
7. Cara kami melindunginya
- Seluruh lalu lintas antara browser Anda dan server kami dienkripsi dengan HTTPS/TLS.
- Password disimpan sebagai hash bcrypt, tidak pernah sebagai teks yang bisa dibaca.
- Akses ke panel admin dibatasi hanya untuk staf yang berwenang.
- Data kartu pembayaran tidak pernah menyentuh server kami.
Tidak ada sistem yang bisa menjanjikan keamanan sempurna, tetapi kami menjalankan langkah-langkah ini dengan serius dan terus memperbaikinya seiring layanan berkembang.
8. Hak Anda
Berdasarkan UU PDP, Anda berhak untuk:
- Mengakses data pribadi Anda yang kami simpan
- Meminta koreksi data yang tidak akurat atau sudah tidak berlaku
- Meminta penghapusan akun dan data pribadi Anda
- Menarik persetujuan atas pemrosesan data Anda
- Meminta penghentian pemrosesan, atau mengajukan keberatan atas penggunaan tertentu
Sebagian data mungkin tetap harus kami simpan setelah permintaan penghapusan apabila diwajibkan peraturan — misalnya catatan transaksi untuk keperluan pajak dan akuntansi.

9. Perubahan kebijakan
Kami dapat memperbarui kebijakan ini sewaktu-waktu. Bila perubahannya signifikan, kami akan memberitahu Anda lewat email atau pemberitahuan di situs. Tanggal “terakhir diperbarui” di bagian atas selalu menunjukkan versi yang berlaku.
